SAN ANTONIO, TX — A search has ended for a 17-year-old Tejano musician who was last seen on the South Side of San Antonio early Tuesday morning after he was found safe on Wednesday morning.

Nathan Acosta was last seen around 1:00 am in the 800 block of Keats Street. He is 5 feet, 4 inches tall, and weighs 125 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a scar on his forehead. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, and grey hoodie, and wears glasses with light blue frames.

Acosta is known as an emerging Tejano artist. He released his debut single, “Me Cuesta Olvidarte,” last year.

He developed a passion for Tejano music at the age of 6. His interest grew as he watched his grandfather, Casimiro Castro, and his band perform. Going to dances and festivals at a young age, he was always attracted to music, learning to play the accordion and guitar at a young age. In 2019, at the age of 14, Nathan was featured alongside David Farias at the Tejano Music Awards for an accordion showdown.
