Destiny Navaira recorded her latest single “Dime Como Se Siente” in two different versions and the award-winning Tejano singer released the music video for the Banda version displaying her versatility that will expand her reach into another music genre that will definitely grow her fanbase.
“This song features my brother Rigo Navaira and it was so much fun for us to explore another genre not only musically but vocally,” said Destiny.
The song was written by Max Cantu and Destiny realized her vision of the tune. “I immediately fell in love with the song and knew I wanted a power ballad, the Banda version soon followed as we got into the studio in Monterrey,” she said.
“Dime Como Se Siente” will be part of the highly-anticipated sophomore solo album from the singer, who won Female Vocalist of the Year at the 2021 Tejano Music Awards last November.
“There is so much more to come from album two and it’s leading us to so many ideas for the third,” commented Destiny.
Destiny hopes to explore the many sides of Mexican music and has spoken of surprises to be heard on her upcoming album due out in April.
“I am recording what I’m feeling and what I and my band create from the moment the song is written,” she added. “There’s no gimmick involved we’re just putting out music that people can enjoy.”
