A nickname recently given to Ray-Ray is “El Orgullo De San Antonio” (The Pride of San Antonio) and he does his best to live up to it. He has come a long way from singing with his family band, Los Agues, to now, which is his sixth year being an independent artist with his own style. His eagerness to rise and push the envelope has landed him several awards like Male Entertainer, Male Vocalist, and Video of the Year for “Costumbres” at the All-Star Music Awards.
