Lucy Rodriguez donates Latin GRAMMY gown for charity auction

SingerLucy Rodriguezdonated the gown she wore to the 2018 Latin GRAMMY Awards for a charity auction to benefit the Children’s Advocacy Center of the Coastal Bend.

Lucy’s record labelEmerald Recordsalong with her co-owned EdiLu Music Publishing will be co-sponsoring a fundraising event supporting the non-profit organization that works to assist sexually and physically abused children. 

The 6th annual roast, in which the Children’s Advocacy Center will be celebrating their 25th anniversary, will include dinner, silent auction and a roast of Driscoll Health System President, Eric Hamon.

Lucy, whoreleased her debut album“Si Mañana” in April 2018, will be performing the National Anthem and has donated the couture-created gown she wore at the 18th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards, a featured item for the silent auction.

Alongside Lucy, various GRAMMY Award-winning musicians and artists (such as producer and bassist,Lorenzo Banda) will be in attendance, coming together to support the abused children of the Coastal Bend. 

The event will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at the Omni Corpus Christi Hotel, 900 N. Shoreline Blvd. and commences at 6:00 PM. 

“It is with great pleasure that I invite and highly encourage everyone in Corpus Christi and surrounding areas to join us in supporting this immensely great cause,” said Lucy.
