Tejano newcomerIlyannreleased her debut single “Algo Eterno,” it’s a cover of the 1980s hit “Eternal Flame” from The Bangles.

The romantic cumbia, produced byTerra Music, is very special to the singer from Lockhart, Texas.

“I will say this song holds my heart in a very wholesome way,” Ilyann told Tejano Nation. “It relates to an impact I have on someone special. I enjoy the English version as much as I enjoy singing my version of the song. It speaks volumes of eternal life or love with someone you hold dearly in your heart. No matter if you left on bad terms or whatever the case may be. Everyone wants to feel something eternal that will last forever within you even if you are no longer beside that special someone.”

“Algo Eterno” is available now at all digital music outlets.
