MIAMI, FL (August 22, 2013) INTOCABLE won this morning two nominations for “Billboard de la Música Mexicana” Awards 2013, finalists were announced live on the morning show “Un Nuevo Día” on Telemundo Network.
Ricky Muñoz, vocalist and accordionist of the group, received by Skype the announcement of these nominations in the categories “Norteño Artist of the Year” and “Norteño Album of the Year”, for their latest album “En Peligro de Extinción” (Endangered).
“We are pleased with these nominations. Thank our fans who keep us active in the airwaves and those who buy our music. Would also like to thank the radio programmers and Telemundo Network for bestowing this award,” said INTOCABLE from Los Angeles.
“Billboard de la Música Mexicana” Award, is the only awards transmitted by a national network that pays tribute to the albums, the songs and the singers most popular in Regional Mexican music. The awards ceremony will air live on Wednesday, October 9 at 7pm/6c from the legendary Dolby Theater in Hollywood, California.
Recently, INTOCABLE released their new single “Nos faltó hablar”, a song that presents their traditional northern music which they fuse with Rock rhythm to create a singular masterpiece and begins to climb the charts nationwide.
During his musical career, INTOCABLE has been recognized with two GRAMMY Awards (in 2005 for their album Intimamente and in 2011 for the album Classic), seven Latin GRAMMY and multiple nominations, thirteen Premios Lo Nuestro, numerous Latin Billboards and two Billboard Regional Mexican Awards, as well as many other nominations, including one from the American Music Awards. Not only these but in 2010 Billboard Magazine named them “Group of the Decade”, and were honored by Billboard with a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012.
